You asked for it…and now we’ve got it!
For companies with field employees, the need for time and attendance systems is two-fold: you not only need to track your employees’ work time, you also want to confirm their location. Precision Payroll now offers a new product called EasyChoice Mobile GPS, which adds a GPS component to our tried-and-true time management product, Time Vantage.
In addition to tracking time, this web product tracks an employee’s location through their smart phone using GEOfencing. It’s specifically designed for clients with employees in the field, such as painters, landscapers and plumbers.
Employers have the option to pre-enter a variety of routine stopping points, so that employees can select the one where they are. While in the past, employers relied on employees to call in and punch in a code to track their time and location, this check-in process is much faster, and adds the certainty of knowing the employee’s location through GPS tracking.
The program interfaces seamlessly with PPA’s payroll system and is already being used by clients. It is available to new customers, and is also a quick retrofit to existing customers, with no set-up or training fees—just the basic cost for the service.
